"In 2011 I purchased In The Ear hearing aids from another provider. This enabled me to hear much better, but they did have limitations: not being able to converse further than 2 metres, and an annoying echo and background noise. I persevered with these for over 4 years until I saw an ad in The West for invisible hearing aids from Hearing Loss Specialists. Gerry tested my hearing and said my it had deteriorated slightly, but that the new In The Ear hearing aids could make an improvement. I trialled the new hearing aids for 2 weeks and got a remote control, which I have found to be very handy for altering the volume. The trial went great and I purchased the model Advanced Range. The result is phenomenal! No echo; much lower level of background noise; I can converse with others as far as 7 metres away; I can hear a person a room away even when they are facing away; and I can now carry on a conversation with a person in a crowded room without having to nearly touch them!"
